Steam Deck lookalike OneXPlayer Mini AMD Edition has recently launched in the Chinese market.
Sales for the new portable game console began after its predecessor, the original OneXPlayer, was released two months ago. The device sports a newer processor, the Ryzen 7 5800U and led to a lower overall unit price tag compared to the 11th gen Intel ‘Tiger Lake’ version.
The new OneXPlayer Mini AMD Edition touts a 7-inch, 1920 by 1080 or 1280 by 800 resolution, the 8th core Zen 3 Ryzen 7 5800U chip, the Radeon Vega 512 stream processors clocked at 2GHz GPU, 16GB of LPDDR4X-4266 RAM and either 512GB, 1TB or 2TB NVMe storage.
The AMD Edition OneXPlayer Mini is currently only available in China. The manufacturer did not mention if it will eventually reach international shores. Pricing for the OneXPlayer Mini AMD Edition starts at $840 for the 1280 x 800 screen and 512GB storage, which is significantly cheaper than the OneXPlayer Mini with Intel processor.
